Some New Mexico municipalities and counties require businesses to register or obtain licenses. You can register or acquire licenses for some counties and municipalities online. However, for many municipalities you must fill out a form from their website and mail it in with a fee. For the municipalities and counties that do not have a website, you will need to call or visit in person to determine requirements and obtain forms.

If the website does not answer your questions or a website is not available, do an online search for the town hall or county administration building and call for more information.
